Our mock test replicates a rigorous four-part exam environment to check every facet of your speaking capabilities:
A general warm-up conversation. You will be asked general questions about your life, background, studies or work, hobbies, daily habits, and hometown.
You will be presented with a full-color picture on Zoom. You have exactly 30 seconds to analyze the image without making notes, and then must speak continuously for 60 seconds describing the scene, situation, and follow-up topics.
Select 1 of 7 creative news headings (e.g., "He's Done it Again!" or "Thousands Gather in Centre..."). You get 2 minutes to compile note outlines, and then must tell the story behind the headline for 60 seconds, followed by detailed questions.
Select 2 statements from a list of 10 controversial or academic prompts. You will enter into a short, dynamic, and interactive debate with the examiner to showcase your higher-level opinion structure.
Your test is scored against official global CEFR benchmarks. Within 72 hours of your test completion, you will receive an elegant email notification containing a detailed feedback dossier.
This includes your certified CEFR Band Score (A1–C2)**, individual breakdowns for fluency, lexical range, grammar, and pronunciation, and a dynamic Landscape Certified Attestation Certificate signed by Luke Farkins ready for download and print.
